HOW THE SUN AFFECTS YOUR SKIN
Cloudy or sunny, cold or hot, the sun is always beating down on your body and may be damaging your skin.
Sunscreen is important for your face and body. Make sure that your sunscreen contains either titanium dioxide or zinc oxide.
Never step outside without at least SPF 30, especially on your face.

SUN DAMAGE IS VERY REAL
Your grandma might have told you those adorable freckles were angel kisses when you were a kid, but the reality is that most freckles are caused by sun damage. And though they can add a little character and charm, what is happening underneath those adorable marks, can be quite serious!
Excessive exposure to sun early in life can make you look older than you really are.
This premature wrinkling and skin damage from sun exposure is called photoaging. One way to help prevent photoaging is to visit your dermatologist regularly for skin check-ups.
Your doctor may recommend procedures like microdermabrasion, chemical peels, laser therapy or fillers to help reduce the visible signs of sun damage.
Talk to your derm about any sun spots, unusual bumps or moles that you’ve noticed which can develop into skin cancer if not caught early.
