Be mindful to avoid overly sugary cookies and anything that is fried.
Instead of getting fried food which we know isn’t body-friendly, swap it out for something that is baked instead! Swap regular fries with sweet potato fries! If you are unsure, ask the server if the fries are baked or fried. Some restaurants will give you the option.
EXERCISES YOU CAN DO ANYWHERE
During the holidays, life can be busy and sometimes it is hard to make it to the gym, especially when you are traveling.
A 30-minute walk everyday can make a huge difference. Keep in mind that you don’t need to work out for consecutive minutes for it to be effective – working out is working out!
According to Livestrong.com, several short workouts through the day is proved to be just as effective as one long duration workout.
